• *Contains nickel. Horses having an allergic reaction to nickel are not common.
• How it works:
• Like most English snaffle bits the primary action is the pull on the bars of the mouth. The single jointed mouth piece exerts a nut cracker effect when the bit is engaged , pressuring the tongue and roof of the mouth. (V shape) Due to the extra joint the nut cracker effect is reduced because they conform better to the horse's "U" shaped mouth.
