I really love the neoprene (removable) padding at the crown and nose - that is what sold me on this halter. Also like that it doesn't have an adjustable noseband because it is too much bulk at the chin. The downside of this halter is that for the price, I expected solid brass fittings and they are lightweight brass colored. Unsure how this will wear over time. Additionally, the crownpiece is elastic (like it) but it holds with a slide-through buckle only - there is no hole for adjustment (look closely at the 4th picture slide). I suspect it will not hold if my horse pulls hard at all. Seems like a design issue for a horse product. I guess time will tell. For the price, they should get the brass right.
