A winter version of the riding rug with a soft, highly insulated fleece lining. This rug fits well around the saddle and is attached over the withers with Velcro. ProTrek is made of 420D nylon with teflon coating. Water-resistant and breathable.
Oh my! This is THE quarter sheet. I think I'm in love! Fits my draft cross mare perfectly, who usually takes an 87" blanket. The outer nylon layer keeps the snow off when I walk my horse outside to the arena. The fleece is lovely, soft, and thick. The trim and logo make it look unique and fancy. Quality is super, and stays in place without the tail cord. I gave it 5 stars because it works great for me and my horse, but it does make a bit of noise that might bother a more jumpy horse.
Written on by Dana DettlaffI've been wanting a waterproof rug for riding for a long time - especially after a long, cold spring and fall of showing in the pouring rain. While my mare was a little nervous about the "noise" the nylon makes (especially in the wind) this rug is a very quality product. It's well made, cut nicely for my English saddle and stays put whether it's over my saddle but under my leathers, or under the saddle flaps. Like any quarter sheet I've used, it slides back and gaps more over my legs when outside, but the tail string was adjustable (unlike my fleece quarter sheet of another make) and the velcro is sturdy and doesn't come undone. Keeps my mare cozy and warm on hacks so far - I expect nothing less once the snow flies.

I have been looking for something that was a bit warmer than a plain fleece sheet for when it is very cold, and heavier so that when I trail ride it will not get blown up if there is a breeze. This is perfect! I love how it comes in different sizes too, I was finally able to find a quarter sheet that was long enough for my horse! Excellent quality as well.
Written on by DSWReally like thi sheet. Seems waterproof and is nice and thick and soft underneath. Its a little noisy to ride with (because of the waterproof outside). Got it for 1/2 price so it was totally worth the $25.
