My friend gave this to me because she felt it was too large for her 16.2 horse. My horse is over 17 and it fits fine, bigger than most pads and longer on the sides but not overwhelming - definitely as pictured. She had the white (red piping) embroidered with the barn logo and it looks fantastic with the contrasting piping. We are wondering if the pony pad runs large as well, and if it might be adequate for many horses. I'd like to see actual measurements listed in the sizing information knowing that these pads run big.

Its a nice, reasonably thick quilt and the piping in two colors (I got the white pad with the blue/red pipe) give it a very nice touch. My only minor issue with the pad is its a smidge long on the side. Almost long like a dressage pad. Haven't tried it on my horse though, so its entirely possible it doesn't seem long once on.
