I just got my pair of chaps delivered yesterday, but when they say soft they mean soft! Buttery soft leather, very pleasing to look at and feels awesome to the touch. I have ordered these chaps as my everyday riding chaps, so only time will tell how well they hold, but they appear very sturdy and well made. Definately can not beat the price on these very good looking chaps. They fit great even on my big calf and the length is perfect. I ordered a M/W.
Written on by A. GomezThese are very nice chaps but I am worried the zipper position is not placed correctly. It seems to lay exactly against my saddle so I am worried with time it is going to scratch the saddle or cause the zipper to break. I bought chaps #37244 too and the zipper is correct on them. I got the XXL size which fits 17 1/2-18" calf great, they are not short in this size but average height, the 37244's are a bit taller. I am 5'6". Both are nicely made and soft, great fit.
Written on by Fine Bay FarmI have been searching high and low for a pair of QUALITY full leather half chaps that would actually fit my leg. I've got through 3 pairs...none that were cut right. I have short, muscular legs and these fit great! I wore mine while showing a few weeks ago and they look good in pictures, too. All of my friends have been very impressed with the quality as well.
