I have a small horse 14 hands, 2" that I ride for dressage and use a Niedersuss Symphonie 43 cm saddle (not big). I felt that some dressage saddle pads dwarf my horse so chose the 'P' size when I ordered this pad, which claimed to be good for this size and use. Sad to say that although the quality was great, the pad was too short for my dressage saddle. Should have measured before ordering, but you never know until it is actually under the saddle, and it was a little too short. So go ahead and order, but with this pad at least, only order the 'P' if you actually ride a small pony and a regular English all-purpose saddle.
Written on by DitaGreat pad. Not too thick, not too thin. Measures 21" at spine between piping, for anyone interested. Great quality and I imagine will last a long time. I definitely recommend.
