Classic tall riding boots. Black full grain European leather upper, water repellent for 60 min. Full length YKK back zipper for easy on/off. ´Dermo Dry’ textile lining with comfortable and removable insole. Extra-resistant rubber sole. 3 shaft options: narrow, regular and wide.
I have a short leg so I couldn't find a short height to fit a 15" calf without spending $800 for a custom boot, so I was excited for the size options. It has a wider toe box - similar to my Ariat Heritage RTs. Leather is not high quality, but OK for the price. The leather part at the back that keeps the zipper from rubbing at the ankle is pointlessly thin so it slides down. I sewed it into the lining with thick thread to keep it up. I've had them a few months, riding & teaching 4 days a week. Broke in quickly. They are comfortable enough to wear all day and look nice. If they hold up, I will ditch the paddocks/half chaps and just wear these for the barn and handful of shows each year.Written on by T.
Great boot at a great price. It is very hard for me to find a boot to fit my calf. These are actually slighlt big at the top of boot. They were comfortable the first time I put them on. Very soft with lots of cushion. Seem to be very well made. I will use them this coming show season and see how they hold up. I have recommended them to a friend who also is difficult to fitWritten on by Anonymous
It's almost impossible for me to find a boot that is wide AND tall enough for my leg. Most boots that are wide enough are much too short. These boots fit like a glove! Super comfortable right out of the box. Leather is good for $114 at half off. Very happy with my purchase!Written on by Delanee
LOVE that the shaft has choices. Have wanted a long boot for dressage for a long time but could not find a boot that was narrow in the shaft, fit my size 39 foot, and was not too tall unless I had a boot custom made at (gulp) crazy expense. Looking forward to wearing these, and if they are as comfortable as advertized I will use them instead of my dissapointing Ariat paddocks (which split across the top seams after three weeks of use!) and half chaps. I almost bought a pair of paddocks instead but with my 30% intro discount it seemed like the right time to take advantage of a price I have not seen before. I hope the leather quality is better that the other reviewers seem to think it is. I plan to treat them with top brand leather treatments as soon as I can.Written on by Judith Raimondi
I have been shopping for tall boots for 2 years. Most were two expensive AND uncomfortable. Others were so cheaply made that they were not worth money. These are just right! They really do not require any breaking in and the liner makes it comfortable for even going barefoot. I have narrow calves and the fit is just right. When I ride, they are so comfortable that i do not even notice them. Highly recommend these!Written on by Beckyliz
An addendum to my previous review to comment on durability. Its been 9 months and the zipper finally blew out on these boots. I had hoped they would make it a year then I would have upped my quality rating but I'm still happy with the purchase. I wore them about 18-20 hrs a week, plus they went to a few shows and I didn't spend much time cleaning them. Other than the zipper and some wear along the back, the rest of the boot held up great. Comfy and inexpensive, so I am giving them another try.Written on by T.
