The beautiful Venice Snaffle Bridle with stitching on the crown, browband and noseband goes the old saying, less is more. The white stitching defines the leather edges for a sophisticated look. This features a flash attachment and softly padded pull-back noseband for an extremely comfortable fit. Beautiful silver stainless steel fittings pop against the supple leather. Included are the leather reins with stoppers.
Stitching defines edges.
Open buckles and wipe clean with damp sponge. Do not saturate with water or chemical cleaners not intended for leather. Leather cleaner and protector may also be used.
Over the years I've bought quite a few bridles in the $50-$150 price range. The Horze Venice bridle is by far my favorite purchase! The leather quality is far superior to other bridles in the price range, soft and supple right out of the box! The mono-crown is a great detail not usually found on bridles in this price range, and one I'm very grateful for. Looking at the Venice bridle next to a Plymouth Bridle, a HDR Bridle, and a few others, it looks far more expensive and well-made. I would expect this quality in a $2-300 bridle, but not under $100! I also LOVE the styling of the Venice Bridle. Regular hunter bridles look dwarfed on my gelding with a large roman nose. The noseband on this bridle doesn't look out of place on his huge, chunky head. The generous padding on the crown, browband, and noseband accent the bridle beautifully without overwhelming it. Finally the buckle closures look stunning on my horse, and are easy to open/close. My only complaint is that there is not a plain cavesson option. My horse doesn't need a flash or a crank, and it becomes a hassle to do up the crank every ride.Written on by SAcres
I have this bridle in both the brown and black. The black bridle is great--soft, supple leather. The brown bridle is a bit rougher for some reason, so I decided to condition it before using. I wasn't too liberal with the conditioner at all, and yet I had major issues getting the reins back through the loops--the leather became so pliable that it was no longer stiff at all, and it bent VERY easily. I actually had to stretch out the leather of the loops to get the reins back through the loops. I'm a little worried now about the safety of the reins. That said, overall, this is a great bridle, and if I do have issues, I'll just get a different set of reins.Written on by Anonymous
I bought this bridle during one of the Horze big sales events. Had read other reviews of leather goods from Horze that were all positive so decided to give it a try. Wow! Was I impressed! I have one "show" bridle (KL Select) and the quality of this bridle is just as nice! I've usually purchased lower priced (i.e. <$100) bridles for "daily" use but it is so nice to have my horses wearing quality bridles like this everyday! And at an incredibly reasonabale price! Often bridles priced at this level are lesser quality leather, not so with Horze bridles. Leather is excellent quality, stitching even & uniform. Thank you Horze for offering such great quality products!! Plus fast shipping & great customer service!Written on by MF in NC
I love the bridle but the reins that came with it were not what I would expect for the quality of the bridle. The caveson was to big for my pony with the crank nose band which I find common problem in most pony bridles. The flash was also to long and I had to punch extra holes in it to make it fit.Written on by Kelsey Whittle
After reading all the good reviews on this bridle I decided to give it a try. Everyone said it ran large so I bought the Cob size for my horse sized horse. Out of the box I was extremely impressed. The leather is very soft!! I was very sad to find out it didn't fit my horse. The noseband fit perfectly but the cheek pieces were too short. They did not have the horse size in stock so I had to return it.Written on by Moto's Mom
Soft leather with exclusive feeling. Very nice looking classic bridle. Good value for money.Written on by Mary

I was looking for a nice bridle for my lease horse, because he's a lease I wanted something that was nice but cheap. I got this bridle less than a week from the send date (bought it from Jeffers Pet supplies for cheaper and in the right size) and it was so supple that I was able to use it right away. However, the flash (in full size) is so big that it could fit a draft. I removed it since I didn't need it anyway. The crank is just a big. I was able to punch a hole (by using a screw and screwing it in where I wanted) and it was literally 4-5 inches from the tightest hole. So I would fully recommend them to make the noseband and flash smaller. I hate the reins, they are supple, but quite slippery. Because they're not braided if your horse pulls and you have no gloves, you're not able to hold on or tighten them. I'd rather have webbed ones than these. They are also kind of thin (width and thickness) which shows the $70 I paid. The monocrown is well done (but it's very wide so if you had a big horse with a thin head it might look weird) but some of the padding is peeling off because the stitching wasn't close enough to the side of the leather. The white stitching may brown with time because of the dirt when you ride. It does look really nice though, it's perfect for showing. I'm very happy that I bought this, I just wish I could tweak a thing or two. I haven't had this long enough for quality over time, so I'll post another thing in a few months.Written on by Em
I really loved this bridle. Soft leather, generous padding. The reins weren't what I expected, but the headstall was lovely. Unfortunately, it looked awful on my cob-the noseband completely overpowered her face. Customer service was great about helping with my return and I'll definitely be getting another bridle from this site to replace this one!Written on by Lindsay
Love this bridle!! Was on a search for a brown dressage bridle to match my saddle, that had buckles, not hook studs, that has leather reins included, mono crown. As well as nice touches and a great look. The leather is excellent for the cost of the bridle. It fit my mare well. She is generally a cob and it fit nicely!! Might buy a 2nd as a show bridle !Written on by Anonymous
I was a little hesitant to purchase this bridle because I sometimes have a problem with fitting the throat latch strap on my girl. She has rather large cheeks. The horse size fit her nicely, the leather is quite soft and supple right out of the bag. Can't wait to use it.Written on by Chris
i love that bridle ,but most important my horse love it too ,the padding makes it vey comfortable for the horse ,and it looks great . it seems to be well made ,definitely good quality for the price ... you can't go wrong with that bridle .Written on by Anonymous
I recently purchased the Venice bridle in brown for my CB x TB. I am very impressed by the quality and softness of the leather. There was no need to oil the bridle before use. The padding is very generous and the decorative stitching not too excessive. He usually wears a cob size, which is the size I ordered, but I find a little bit on the small size. I wish I would have gone for the full size now, as all the buckles are on the last hole and he could do with a little bit more space, but their is not enough space left to punch an extra hole on the straps. Last but not least, the reigns that are supplied with the bridle are just as nice as the rest of the bridle and I am very pleased that they are plain leather and not rubber grip, as that is what new bridles usually come with nowadays.Written on by Major Majestick
my horse loves it and i love it its nicely padded awsome product want to get moreWritten on by Anonymous
I do love this bridle, my only complaint is that the horse size seems bigger than most. I should had ordered cob for my 15'3 Anglo Arab, but I've already used it and probably cannot exchange. The leather is very supple with lots of padding. The browband came a bit crushed and It still looks a little funny on because of the kinks caused by shipping.Written on by JMG
Great quality leather and looks very smart. Nicely. Padded for extra comfort. Would recommendWritten on by Anonymous
I ordered this in the dark brown cob. The crank noseband might not fit super fine boned cobs. It came out of the box super soft and supple! Very padded great for the sensitive skinned horses! Very nice quality comparable to much more pricey bridles. I love the mono crown piece. I ordered this to be a show bridle and the lormont bridle to be a schooling. For the price difference I wish I had ordered two of these lol! No complaints here!Written on by Anonymous
I bought this bridle in a brown cob! The leather was super soft and supple! The padding is amazing. I love the mono crown. The bridle is comparable to higher end bridles. The crank might be a bit big for smaller arab noses. I used this bridle on a 16 hand petit TB that definitely has a cob face. The cheek pieces and noseband are done in the middle so definitely lots of flexibility for sizing. I bought the lormont bridle too for schooling and for the $11 more this bridle cost it is wayyyy better quality and definitely show worthy! I want to buy a second just for schooling!Written on by Anonymous
This bridle is phenomenal, I'm very VERY picky when it comes to bridles because my mare is hard to fit, but this bridle fit her perfectly and doesn't leave harsh marks on her nose. The leather is very supple, would expect this of a very expensive high end bridle not for one at this price. If you're looking for flashy, good quality bridle look no further. I would highly recommend this bridle to anyone.Written on by Anonymous
