The fabric of these pants feels nice and they are comfortable. I like the sueded full seat. However, I fault the waist for being way larger than the measurement. I ordered the 26 because that is my waist measurement. The waist is at least 2 inches too large and they gape quite a bit in the back. Fortunately, I know how to sew. So I will take the waist in and they should make good riding pants. I like that they are long enough for my longer legs. The blue is darker than I expected from the picture.Written on by Anonymous
Sizing is way off - I wear a 30, so ordered a 30/42 pair. The waist is about 4 inches too big. If not for this I would be very happy with the breeches, quality is good and consistent. Very attractive.Written on by sue
Nice & long so they look cute even if you're running around the barn in clogs. Very comfortable to ride in.Written on by Anonymous
I own these breeches in the "chocolate brown" which is more of a dark chestnut with a clarano-type suede seat. Stitching is great, size fits true, though a little big in the waist. Nice functional pockets and good quality hardware and velcro make this a fantastic breech for every day. The fabric is a heavy cotton with good stretch - I like having some support and like the confidence these breeches give me knowing that my lumps and bumps won't show! A fantastic deal on sale, or with one of the many coupons this company sends me. I'm becoming a convert!Written on by Ashley R.
Those breeches can't be compared to kingsland, animos or pikeur. I don't believe that person, who claims that he ridden in big brand named breeches and liked that 95% cotton more is saying truth. Cotton breeches usually don't look good after couple months of everyday riding. If you are riding every day you definitely should avoid high ''concentration'' of cotton in breeches, this material is not durable. Better take a look on horze ''grand prix'' breeches, they are better than these. ''Active'' breeches are good for riding once per week, for kids or amateurs who are just starting to ride.Written on by Anonymous
Nice clean look my daughter loved them! She said they are comfortable and had since fit.Written on by Mel
I purchased these on sale but would pay full price for them. The quality is better than other comparably priced brands. The overall fit is true to size, except the length is really long in the legs.Written on by Anonymous
I purchased the white ones, and although haven't been able to wear them to a show yet, from trying them on they seem wonderful! I got them 50% off during a 6-hour sale a while ago, and I was so glad I did! Everything is perfect, love the pockets. For the wonderful Horze price, you can't beat it. I would highly recommend getting yourself a pair or two.Written on by Anonymous
I got these in size 26 since the 28's were sold out at the time. I usually wear size 28, but I am glad I went smaller. The full seat seems to be some kind of faux suede. I purchased these with the 50% discount. I probably wouldn't pay the normal price for them.Written on by Kaila Pakula
I got these on sale but would buy at full price. Very comfortable, nice zip pocket. Horze breeches tend to be long, an issue if you are a petite rider like me (5'2"). These are among the short styles. Even so I took them to a tailor to be shortened by about 2 inches for $15 making them almost custom for less than $50 total (with sale price).Written on by soobee
These breeches definitely have more of a "sweatpants" feel to them. True, they are comfortable, but they became saggy after the first ride (too late to return them.) Okay to school in at home and then lounge in inside between rides, but I would not wear them at shows. I would not purchase them again.Written on by Anonymous
At half off they are amazing. Super quality, and I find the sizing right on. The purple ones are beautiful!Written on by SP
Very durable material, provide great support, and fit really well. I would suggest ordering one size down. I did and they fit great. A little snug on first fitting, but after wearing them for about an hour they broke in nicely and were very comfortable. Definitely give these 2 thumbs up. I bought the chocolate brown and it is very appealing. Will be buying these in more colors! The ONLY thing I am not a fan of is the pockets in the front. A little bulky, but a great addition if you do need to throw a phone or bill fold in. :)Written on by Alyssa J
I bought this in brown. Like the previous reviews say, the sizing is off. They are slightly too big. The material seems to be very durable. I won´t be buying a full seat breech anymore because i feel like the material is very "stiff" (by lack of a better word) and I can´t move in them as well as I would like to.Written on by Marije
I've worn everything from pikeurs, kingslands, and animos and these breeches rate up there with all those brands EASILY. Extremely comfortable, very durable for everyday riding, and SO stylish. These breeches look awesome, feel awesome, and ARE awesome! Can't say enough good things about them. Definitely will be buying many pairs of these!Written on by Anonymous
Good quality breeches, however a little restrictive for me due to the full-seat which isn't unusual. However in time will probably give a little.Written on by Anonymous
these jodphurs are just what i was looking for. they are super comfortables. i ordered the seasonal color 'cornet blue' and it looked amazing. when i was looking online for a pair of jodphurs i thought hmm.. they are a bit expensive but when they came they were worth every penny! thanks Horze.Written on by Anonymous
These are nice, well-made breeches, especially for the price. I was able to get into the Large size but they were a little tight on me. I thought the waist was a little low, like a low-rise waist but could be because I'm tall (long legs and long torso) and they were a little tight. I just need to lose 10 lbs. and I'm sure they would fit fine.Written on by Anonymous
Extremely disappointed with these breeches. They are unusable due to the suede seat being so restricting. The material is of poor quality with a suede seat stitched on. Avoid!Written on by Anonymous
I've had these breaches for about 8 months and they're extremely comfortable for all my work and riding. I'm very short and even when I roll these up I can still fit my long boots over them perfectly. By far my favourite pair.Written on by Anonymous
