Tendon or Galloping Boots

Splint, brushing, or galloping boots protect your horse’s legs during turnout, travel, lunging and riding, and help absorb shock when your horse’s hoof strikes the ground. These boots are among the most popular and affordable horse boots available. Ideal for horses engaged in high-intensity disciplines, galloping boots provide protection to the inside of the cannon bone with a reinforced inner strike area, while also offering significant tendon support. Sport boots offer an all-around design and are versatile enough to meet the needs of any discipline. These boots are held in place by straps and buckles or hook and loop closures and come in a variety of colors and materials to fit your style and budget.

Jumping boots help absorb concussive forces to minimize wear and tear on your horse’s tendons during schooling and competing. They are worn on the front legs, often with a matching set of fetlock boots on the hind legs. Open front jumping boots protect the tendons and leave the front of the forelegs exposed to provide sensory feedback should your horse hit a rail. Open front jumping boots are not suitable for turnout because they don’t provide full coverage for your horse’s legs.

Dressage boots protect your horse from brushes and overreach injuries during training and everyday riding. Both horse dressage and jumper boots consist of an outer shell made from durable material that can withstand brushes and knocks and an inner padding for comfort.

Horze Equestrian boots provide your horse with protection and support from ankle to knee and are an easy alternative to polo wraps. Support boots are available in a wide variety of colors and sizes from popular brands like Horze Equestrian, B Vertigo and Back on Track.
