While most tack is available in leather, synthetic tack is also popular for racing, trail riding and daily training.

Horze Equestrian provides a large selection of English tack, often featuring a touch of European inspiration in their design. English tack is available by brands like Horze Equestrian or B Vertigo and is generally available for the disciplines of Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing and Hunters. Horze Equestrian also offers tack that is durable and stylish for everyday schooling, showing and for trail riding.

Horze Equestrian specializes in offering a diverse selection of English bridles for a variety of disciplines. Whether you are looking for affordable schooling bridles or want premier leather bridles for the highest levels of competition Horze Equestrian offers the quality and designs that you want.

We offer a wide range of quality leather bridles designed for dressage or eventing with high quality leather with flash cavessons. These bridles are available with brown or black leather and are available with an array of browband designs including stylish crystal and bling browbands. Flash cavessons are available in plain buckle or crank, pull back designs for your horse’s comfort. High quality Weymouth style bridles are also available for upper level dressage competitions.

For hunter and jumper riders a full range of bridles are available with plain cavessons in rich brown leather. Features that hunter riders are sure to appreciate include luxuriously padded nosebands and browbands with raised and stitched designs that offer a subtle elegance to accent your horse’s head. For jumpers that require additional control, a range of figure 8 bridles are available as well including in fun blinged out designs that are perfect for schooling or for the fashion forward rider.

Looking for premier designs and features for your horse? Many of our premier bridles feature ergonomic and padded crownpieces. Many bridles also offer either mono crown designs or crownpieces where the cavesson strap sits atop the crown pieces for additional comfort. Other design features include padded cavessons and beautiful, soft European leather. Another option that is available on many bridles is their end closure; hook stud ends are a traditional option and offer a more subtle look. Buckle ends are very popular in Europe and may offer greater comfort for the horse and are easier to open and close if the rider needs to change the bit.

While many bridles do come with reins included, many riders choose to customize their reins selection to meet their personal riding needs. Most hunter riders choose to use traditional laced reins; these are also offered with raised or fancy stitched designs to match the bridle. Riders who require secure grip will often choose reins that have rubber added. Eventers and jumpers often choose full rubber covered reins, while dressage riders often choose rubber and web intertwined reins. Full web reins, often with hand grips are also popular for dressage; these are also often offered with more economical bridles. Plain, full leather reins are often used as secondary or curb reins and offer less bulk in the hands when using two reins. If your horse needs the additional support of a martingale, or you require the use of a breastplate for competitions, Horze Equestrian and B Vertigo offer many styles which match their bridlework for a polished, elegant look in the show ring.

Horze Equestrian also offers a full selection of English bits to complete your English bridle. A rider’s bit choice is often heavily influenced by their discipline as well as their horse’s preference.

Snaffle bits are the most common style of English bit and are suitable for most horses. Using direct control, snaffle bits are available in a variety of designs and are named by their cheekpiece style. Among the most common styles are loose ring, full cheek, d-ring, eggbutt, or boucher bits. These bits are then further available in a range of mouthpieces such as mullen, single jointed or double jointed styles like lozenges, French links or oval mouth styles. Other styles of bits include combination bits like gags or pelhams that use both direct and indirect or curb action. Combination bits are available in the same mouthpieces as listed above. These provide additional control for stronger horses. True curb bits, like Weymouth bits are designed to be used in conjunction with a bradoon bit, which is a snaffle bit with a smaller set of rings. Weymouth bits feature a range of unjointed mouthpieces, often with a port. Bits are traditionally crafted in stainless steel, but are also offered in other materials such as with copper, rubber or flavored polymer. These different materials offer a different feel or taste in the horse’s mouth offering a range of benefits. Horze, Finntack and Zilco English bits offer a wide selection of choices for your horse’s comfort.

English saddles are available in a selection of styles to meet the rider’s choice of discipline. All purpose saddles can be used for a variety of riding disciplines, but as the rider advances in skill they will generally want to upgrade to a more specified saddle. Close contact saddles are used for jumping in the ring; they have a more forward flap and a shallower seat to accommodate a shorter stirrup and less time spent sitting flat in the saddle. An eventing saddle is similar, but often has a more substantial knee and thigh block to provide more stability. Conversely, a dressage saddle has a straighter, longer flap with a deeper seat to accommodate a long stirrup and prepares the rider to sit the larger movements expected in dressage training.

Saddle pads designed by Horze Equestrian and B Vertigo offer exceptional style for either showing or schooling. Saddle pads are available in a full style to match the form of the saddle, or in a half pad that sits just under the seat. Saddle pads are available in dressage, close contact or all purpose sizes in full/cob sizes or in pony size that is generally used for saddle sizes under 16. Dressage saddle pads are generally square in shape and feature a quilted cover; while white or black are the most common for showing, any conservative color may be used. All purpose saddle pads designed for daily use are typically square in shape as well, but are offered in a wider array of colors and designs. These saddle pads are also commonly used for other jumping style saddles. Riders showing in the jumper or eventing disciplines commonly use saddle pads that match their stable or cross country colors. Additional decoration and style may be added to square saddle pads with different trim or piping colors as well as metallic or crystal accents for a touch of flair. Different fabrics may also be used, such as micro suede. Embellished logo patches or embroidered designs are also common on pads used for schooling. For riders showing in the show hunter disciplines, saddle pads are generally shaped and made of either white sheepskin or synthetic fleece. Half pads may be used in addition to a standard saddle pad and provide additional protection for the horse’s back. Half pads generally feature memory foam, gel or fitting inserts; they may also be made of sheepskin, which has provides natural shock absorption and cushioning. Horze offers a wide variety of saddle pads in fun colors for schooling or for showing. For premier quality and design features, B Vertigo creates stylish saddle pads that are perfect for show or schooling and offer both a classic take as well as performance features such as moisture-wicking fabrics, air flow panels or orthopedic inserts.
