I was searching for a winter turnout that was not too warm for a horse that is stalled at night and turned out during the day and stands up to rolling and turnout. This blanket fits well and stays centered and seems durable. It would be helpful to have a velcro strap over the bottom buckle also, as my horse likes to play with the bottom strap and has unhooked it! Also I much prefer the clip hooks of the older style to the T-buckles. I like the high neck design of the Avalanche and the generous forward shoulder gussets. It would be nice if the blanket were offered in more colors so I could tell my Avalanche rain sheet from the winter blanket at a glance. They are both navy, as black does not appeal to me. The blanket is a little pricey, but worth it for the fit. i have a 14 year old Tennessee Walking horse. All in all, I would recommend it. Please change the T-buckles back to the clip style buckles and offer more colors!!

I haven't tried this on my Tb yet but I just took it out of the package it comes with a bag for it to! When I took it out of the bag I noticed all the really nice little details and how many great clips there are to make sure it stays on the horse! Overall I really like it and I hope it fits my horse!

Love the shoulder gussets that are roomy for my big shouldered Morgan. Very durable and the color combo is classy!

This was the 4th blanket I've tried on my Thoroughbred and this one actually fit! All the others from other brands had to be returned.
