Superior workmanship is seen in these high quality protective boots.
Tough yet lightweight protection boots provide excellent leg protection for horses in exercise or turnout. The soft pile lining keeps legs cool and dry with shock absorbing protection. Sand and other debris won't slip inside the boot causing irritation or discomfort to the legs.
Close prior to washing. Scrub with mild soap and rinse or machine wash. Air dry.
These were very flimsy, when pulled from the package. I have four pair. Two pair in white and two pair in black. I was buying them initially for cross-country schooling, but they are far too thin. They would be fine for hacking, trail riding, or dressage, but I won’t likely use them for jumping.
My horse has become very sensitive to boots. Bought air cooled etc ,etc and am thrilled finally found a boot that doesn't cause a reaction.they won't last forever but lightweight, machine wash well and stay in place even through water jumps .Hard to resist at the price.
I thought they were great, they are thin, which is great if you don't like the bulk. I had barely used them, maybe 5 days in a row and I noticed that they were rubbing my horses hind legs. They are now sitting in my tack trunk as a spare incase I ever need something in a jiffy.
Fantastic boots hard wearing been washed many times. My horses done hundreds of miles here and abroad with them on
When I first saw them I was worried the S boots wouldn't fit my girls front legs. She's a 14.3h old school breeding style of Cob (chunky, big boned girl), but they fit! Super thin, soft and flexible. My girl tends to track close between her hind legs, but I didn't hear a single rub from these boots. The perfect amount of cushion for an accidental nock.
I am glad that I bought them on sale. I bought front medium pair and hind large pair for my 160cm (15.3hh) warmblood mare. They had lasted three days of 30 min trail ride on normal terrain. After the first ride they had scratches, but today, on our third ride with these boots, hind pair was torn. Hope that front pair will hold at least a few more rides.. Only thing that I like about these boots is pile inside, it is soft and looks comfortable. These brushing boots are definitely not wort the money.
The boots were shown as reduced price so I thought I was getting a bargain, but when they arrived the fur was poor synthetic and the outer material seems more like cardboard than anything which will provide even the slightest bit of protection. Do not buy this product unless you intend on using them once and throwing them away. They are the worse horse boots ive ever seen and was quite amazed at how low quality they were. They look lovely on the picture, but dont be fooled wont last for the purpose they are intended.
Love the zipper trim on these boots! But they are very thin and provide only light protection. They do run big-I bought the large for my 16.3 wb/tb gelding and they are way to big on the front and roomy behind. Probably could have gone with mediums all around.
these are very light weight, ideal for daily exercise and wash and dry quickly, also very good value for money
A friend of mine has been using these boots for her horse for a daily turn out for quite a while, and so I have decided to purchase a full set of these boots (size M, L) for a 15.1hh mare and they're fab! Soft (sheepskin-like) pile lining on the inside and very durable, easy care material on the outside. Wonderful brush boots for the price!
Love these boots! Brilliant fit for my horse and they are super soft. I use them for flatwork, hacking and xc. They stay on and don't slip! Because of the lining in the boot no sand/dirt/stones get stuck up in the boot so they are brill for hacking! I have also bought numerous things from horze and they have all been amazing quality and have loved all my products!!
I purchased these and LOVE these boots. My 16.2 TB wears a medium in the fronts and large in the back. I purchased the white ones, and they do get dirty fairly quickly. I threw them in the washer several times and they did great! They air-dry super fast too. Do not put these in the dryer...mine shrunk a bit...! Just wish someone didnt acidentally throw them in there! Outstanding price for an excellent protective boot. I used them for groundwork and light jumping. Would purchase these again immediately and reccommend them!
I use these for low level dressage schooling 2-3X/week. They replaced my worn out neoprene Woof brushing boots. My 16.1 mare wears a medium in front and a large behind and they fit well without slipping. I ride in a sand arena that can get deep when dry and can be a swamp when wet. So far, no complaints - the boots keep most of the sand and muck out (I notice a bit of sand on the bottom edge of the boot after riding, but it doesn't appear to cause discomfort). I use a stiff brush to clean the sheepskin after every ride, and the outside is easy to wipe clean. They've held up well for the 4 weeks I've used them so far.
I have had a pair of the brown ones for about 5 months now. They are holding up great. Just ordered a pair of black ones and wasn't expecting the black pile lining instead of white but that works for me.
fell apart after a wearing max 6 or 7 times. The ones my mare was wearing on her back legs were totally ripped. Look great but very flimsy.
I was pleased with these boots. They are not stiff, very flexible and conform to the horse's leg very nicely. The lining is not as bulky as some sport boots. As soon as the medium is in stock in brown I am ording a couple moree pairs.
These are decent boots, but just wanted to note that these boots only have two velcro straps. The first picture shows a boot with 3 and the second stock photo shows 2. The second photo is accurate. I personally wasn't impressed with these. They didn't fit very well and were quite stiff. They are decent to get by, but they slipped around a lot and just fit WEIRD. I wouldn't buy a second pair. If you just want some throw around boots, then they're a great price, but if you're looking for something that is durable I would purchase the tendon boots. :)
I went back and bought 3 more pairs for my Irish horse to school dressage in so I can save his $100+ pairs of jump boots for jumping! He has 9" cannons and is 15.3hh and these fit in width and were at the top limit on height for his short cannon. He wears M on front and L on the back. I like that the black has black fleece and white detailing. Even if these only last a couple months being used 5x a week (I think they will last much longer though), I'll be quite happy!
Love these boots. Light but seem relatively well made. I'm hoping they last. Even though they are fleece-lined, they don't pick up a lot of footing like my other fleece boots. Legs seems to stay cool and dry underneath. My trainer loves the white bead piping on the black set I have. My Irish Sport horse is 16.2 and wears medium in front and large behind. Fit is great. The price is unbelievable!
This is a really great boot - not too thick and it most important, the legs don't heat up. After our last lesson, my mare was a sweaty mess. When I took her boots off, her legs where cooler than under her saddle or her uncovered chest. I was impressed. I've thrown out a lot of very expensize brand name boots because they just didn't breath, but these are a keeper! The fit is good - my 15.2 but big-boned TB mare wears the mediums front and back, as I expected. I already have a spare brown pair, and a white pair on my Christmas Wish List.
